Michael Pementel attended Columbia College Chicago and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing. Since 2015, he has worked in online and print media, covering music, film, video games, and anime. Along with his work at The Pit, Michael has also written for: Bloody Disgusting, Metal Injection, Consequence of Sound, Dread Central, Electronic Gaming Monthly, New Noise Magazine, Treble Zine, PopMatters, and the Funimation Blog.
