Early 2024 looks like it’s going to be an amazing time for the New England grindcore band Escuela Grind, for along with dropping a new EP, they are also hitting the road for a North American headlining tour.
Escuela Grind is one of the most badass bands working in the scene today; along with their exhilarating tunes, the band is remarkable to see live, their grind bringing delightful mayhem wherever they play.
On January 12th, Escuela Grind will release a new EP titled DDEEAATHHMMEETTAALL, which is the third and final installment of an EP trilogy. Recently the band dropped a new music video for their song “Ball and Chain,” a track from the upcoming EP – you can check out that video below.
Alongside the release of DDEEAATHHMMEETTAALL, Escuela Grind will be kicking off a North American headlining tour on January 10th in Middletown, New York – the tour will conclude on February 18th in Boston, Massachusetts.
Regarding this upcoming tour, Escuela Grind vocalist Katerina Economou shares the following:
“AMERICA! We are coming to crush more poser flesh under our New Balances and Nikes under the command of Big Homo. We are so thrilled to have a wildly diverse range of bands touring with us and there’s a bunch of cities we haven’t been to in a while, so we’re stoked to throw down with all of you. We’ll be playing a bunch of new material, including our new EP, and stuff from the upcoming album. This is your chance to hear the new shit before anyone else. We’ve been grinding hard on the road all year, and this is our first headliner since last April so expect a wilder, more skull cracking Escuela Grind experience. Be there. Karate kick your friends, get crushed in a wall of death, stage dive onto a teenager and show up with a black eye and broken nose at work the next day. This is going to be fucking wild.
