Wes Scantlin of the Kansas City, Missouri rock band Puddle Of Mudd seems to have really pissed off the folks at The Machine Shop, for the venue has announced that the band is never welcomed inside their doors ever again.
Per a post the Flint, Michigan music venue shared on their Facebook, The Machine Shop writes that Puddle of Mudd’s two upcoming shows at the venue have been canceled.
According to The Machine Shop, they say this cancellation is not a “due to circumstances beyond our control” sort of deal; per the venue, they say the issue is “100%” related to “Wes.”
Along with announcing that refunds will be issued, The Machine Shop also says they are not “rescheduling” Puddle Of Mudd.
Below is the entirety of The Machine Shop’s statement regarding Puddle Of Mudd:
“Puddle Of Mudd has cancelled all their upcoming concerts including the shows September 15 and 16 at The Machine Shop. This is not a ‘due to circumstances beyond our control’ cancellation. This is 100% Wes. The Machine Shop, his band and everyone involved are very disappointed.
“We will not be postponing the shows as we are not ever rescheduling Puddle Of Mudd. All tickets purchased through Etix will be automatically refunded. All hard tickets can be refunded at point of purchase. Thank you and please know that all of us at The Machine Shop appreciate your support and understanding.”
The Puddle Of Mudd singer has a long history of legal trouble under his belt. He has been arrested multiple times throughout his life, with some charges involving drug possession and violence.
Hell, just a few days ago, as reported by TMZ, the frontman was arrested for attempting to board an airplane with a BB gun. Due to this arrest, the band’s show this past Saturday (September 10th) was canceled. Perhaps this recent arrest may have something to do with the cancellations The Machine Shop was talking about. At this time, there is no announcement on the band’s social media regarding cancellations.
