While in the midst of performing the band’s song “You Can’t Bring Me Down,” Mike Muir, vocalist for the Los Angeles crossover band Suicidal Tendencies, fell off stage. This incident took place this past Saturday (September 23rd) in Ontario, California at the Toyota Arena.
Per fan-captured footage, which you can view below, you will see the band in action performing “You Can’t Bring Me Down,” Muir moving about the stage as he sings the song.
At one point, Muir comes a little too close to the front of the stage, and while he’s focusing on delivering the song to the audience, the frontman ends up falling off the stage. An individual dressed in black is seen running from the back of the stage to where the Suicidal Tendencies singer has fallen.
Eventually, Muir gets back up and, as if nothing happened, goes right back to his singing. He continues moving around the stage and remains focused on providing an exhilarating performance.
Falling from a stage is no joke, and at times can result in a serious injury. Per the footage of this fall, it appears the vocalist recovered relatively well from his slip.
Below you will find the video that features Mike Muir’s fall during the band’s performance of “You Can’t Bring Me Down”; you will also find a longer video that highlights the band playing the song.
