Nirvana is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their final album In Utero with a massive vinyl re-release, featuring many previously unheard tracks.
In Utero was released on September 21st, 1993, and is the final record to come from the legendary Seattle, Washington rock band. Following the massive success of their previous record Nevermind, Nirvana opted for a more aggressive and raw creative direction for In Utero‘s sound.
In Utero proved to be another major success for Nirvana in their short career, as it reached number one on the US Billboard 200 chart and has gone 6x platinum since its release.
The re-releases of the album are filled with a ton of bonuses sure to excite any fan. Among these variants of the record comes two different “Super Deluxe” editions, each including 53 previously unreleased tracks (among other gems) on both vinyl and in CD format.
These “Super Deluxe” sets are priced at, respectively, $179.98 (for the 5CD Super Deluxe) and $324.98 (for the 8LP Super Deluxe).
