It’s always a treat when a show pops up in a place you don’t expect it to. We have heard of shows going down in a bookstore, a waffle house, and even in the middle of a Subway restaurant in the past.
One band that’s comfortable playing in unique locales is the New Jersey, hardcore band Gel. Back in 2022, Gel played an absolutely thrilling show at a Sonic Drive-In, the band’s crowd going wild in the restaurant’s parking lot. You can find footage of this performance below.
More recently though, the hardcore act played a concert in another interesting venue – a laundromat. This show took place yesterday (September 17th) at Dirty Dungarees in Columbus, Ohio. Dirty Dungarees not only serves as a music venue but also as a legit laundromat where you can wash your clothes.
Per video footage of this recent performance uploaded onto YouTube by Jaxx Traxx Productions, Gel provided, unsurprisingly, a kick-ass show.
In the footage, which you will find below, although Gel plays in a somewhat tight space, the band and their crowd are seen having a wonderful time together.
Along with the footage of Gel’s laundromat show below, you will also find the band’s upcoming North American tour dates.
