What started out as an exciting birthday trip turned into an extra special evening for a father and son who were invited up on stage to watch the Los Angeles heavy metal band Guns N’ Roses perform an intimate show.
Last Friday (September 15th), Guns N’ Roses performed at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida, which has a seating capacity of 7,000; this is a relatively smaller venue compared to the stadium shows the band has been playing.
Over on Reddit, a user by the name of “u/xxzz23zzxx” recently shared that, for his 9-year-old son’s birthday, he and his son flew out from Boston to attend this show. Writing about the upcoming event initially, dad wrote: “Flying from Boston with my 9 year old for his bday with VIP tickets- smallest venue of the tour, intimate show. We are psyched!”
Let alone traveling and having VIP tickets to a Guns N’ Roses concert already making for an incredible start to a birthday experience, the dad and his son were in for an extra special surprise when they arrived at the Hard Rock Live venue.
Though he did not provide details as to how he and his son landed such an amazing opportunity, the dad later reported on Reddit that he and his son were invited on stage to watch Guns N’ Roses perform.
In a follow-up Reddit post, alongside a photo of his son, the dad wrote:
“We flew to Hollywood to see last night’s show at the Hard Rock for my son’s 9th birthday…and he watched from the stage! Much love to GNR crew and Team Brazil <3”
