Having recently had a pole installed in her home, pop star icon Britney Spears decided to film herself pole dancing to the Nine Inch Nails song “Closer.”

In a new post on the pop star’s Instagram account, she shared a video of herself dancing on this new pole of hers. Among the catalog of songs Spears could have danced to from Nine Inch Nails, “Closer” is one of their most popular, and provocative, tracks. Alongside the video she uploaded, Spears also provided the following caption:

“Got this pole two days ago and last night was my first time on it !!!”

It’s not too shocking the song was selected for the video, given its enduring status as a strip club staple.

In 2021, after an intense legal process, a judge ended the pop icon’s conservatorship. As reported by PBS, this decision allowed Spears to remove her father from power and provide her freedom to make her own medical, financial, and personal life choices.

In February 2022, Spears signed a book deal for $15 million for her upcoming memoir; this is considered one of the biggest book deals of all time. That memoir, titled Woman in Me, will be released on October 24th, 2023.

In the time that has passed since that court decision, Spears has taken to social media to provide her followers with more of a look into her life. Sometimes she will share photos of her kids, some photos of her and her husband, and then other videos that feature her dancing or going about other activities.

At the time of this writing, it has been seven years since Spears released a new album; her most recent record is 2016’s Glory.
