Metalcore supergroup END just announced their hotly anticipated sophomore album The Sin of Human Frailty due out on October 27th via Closed Casket Activities. The fierce ensemble comprises members from groups like Fit For An Autopsy and Counterparts and has made waves in the metalcore scene since their debut in 2017.

In a showcase of their insane heaviness, the band has released the music video for their first single from the album, “Gaping Wounds of Earth.” The track is a raw reflection on discomfort and self-identity, echoing the band’s sentiment that in their music, “there is no light at the end of this tunnel.”

END, the explosive collaboration between guitarist Will Putney, vocalist Brendan Murphy, guitarist Gregory Thomas, bassist Jay Pepito, and drummer Matt Guglielmo, initially garnered attention with their 2017 EP, “From the Unforgiving Arms of God.” Their 2020 full-length debut Splinters From an Ever-Changing Face further made them a major player, showing just how heavy they get.

Now on their upcoming album, heaviness reigns supreme in a big way. In the words of guitarist Putney, the aim was to create a record that genuinely “sounds like END,” successfully bringing more identity to the band. The album features an eclectic blend of HM2-driven Grind and Metallic Hardcore, sprinkled with moments of Industrial chaos across its ten tracks.

Fans can look forward to guest appearances from notable figures like J.R. Hayes (Pig Destroyer), Debbie Gough (Heriot), and Dylan Walker (Full of Hell). The entire album has been meticulously produced and engineered by Will Putney and is visually complemented by the art of Alex Eckman-Lawn.

The band isn’t stopping at just an album release. END will be hitting the road this fall, touring the U.S. alongside Full of Hell.
