Fans attending a recent show featuring the New York hardcore acts Gorilla Biscuits and H20 were treated to an extra surprise when none other than Blink-182‘s Travis Barker and Mad Peaceful’s Shapel Lacey showed up on stage
Per a post the Mad Peaceful vocalist shared on his Instagram, both he and the Blink-182 drummer wanted to get in on the hardcore action, so they decided to rock out alongside Gorilla Biscuits and H20.
Per Lacey’s Instagram post:
“There is sooo much to say about last night but I’ll narrow it down by saying what an extremely beautiful experience it was. Singing with my H2O family ft @travisbarker on drums and rockin a Minor Threat cover with Gorilla Biscuits! Mad love to @tobymorse for always bringing me along for the ride”
Alongside this caption, Lacey shares a couple of videos featuring his and Barker’s awesome performances from that night. Hardcore shows always go off, and based on this footage, it looks like Lacey, Barker, and everyone at that concert, had a fantastic time.
Below you can check out footage of Shapel Lacey and Travis Baker performing at this recent Gorilla Biscuits and H20 show.
Below the videos, you can also check out Mad Peaceful’s 2022 self-titled release, which features three songs.
And speaking of Gorilla Biscuits and H20, both New York hardcore bands will be taking part in this year’s Riot Fest. The lineup associated with this festival is absolutely stacked, with the likes of Foo Fighters, Turnstile, The Postal Service, Death Cab For Cutie, Queens of the Stone Age, The Cure, and The Mars Volta headlining.
