It’s been over a decade since Creed’s been an active band.
The Scott Stapp-lead group today announced their highly-anticipated reunion, which will take place during the “Summer Of ’99” cruise, an immersive rock ‘n’ roll celebration scheduled from April 18 to April 22, 2024, sailing from Miami, Florida, to the Bahamas aboard the Norwegian Pearl.
Creed’s impact on the late ’90s and early 2000s music scene was undeniable, attracting a devoted fan base that remains dedicated to this day. Though the band faced both adoration and criticism during their peak years, their legacy endures.
The “Summer Of ’99” cruise will not only feature Creed but also several other renowned post-grunge acts, making it a nostalgic trip down memory lane for fans of the era. Bands like Buckcherry, Tonic, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, the Verve Pipe, Tantric, Dishwalla, Louise Post (of Veruca Salt), Nine Days, and 3 Doors Down will join the lineup, promising an unforgettable experience for attendees.
Since their temporary hiatus in 2003, Creed’s members have been busy with various projects. Scott Stapp has released three solo albums and fronted the hard rock supergroup Art of Anarchy. Meanwhile, guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips formed Alter Bridge with vocalist Myles Kennedy, a band that has since released seven successful albums.
