Claudio Sanchez of the New York progressive band Coheed and Cambria recently had a very eventful evening chilling with some of the biggest names in hip-hop.

Per a new Instagram post of his, Sanchez and his wife recently attended a private party celebrating a new exhibition that honors the legacy of rapper Jay-Z. This exhibition is called The Book of Hov.

This party was hosted at the Brooklyn Public Library, which is where the exhibition is also found; the official opening of The Book of Hov is today (July 14th).

Per the website associated with this exhibition:

“The Book Of HOV is a tribute exhibition at the Brooklyn Public Library, Central Branch, recognizing Shawn ‘JAY-Z’ Carter’s extraordinary journey from Brooklyn’s Marcy Projects to global figure.”

In attendance at this party were several big-name celebrities, and Sanchez got to chill with a few of them. Among the photos he shared in his Instagram post, the rocker is seen with the legend himself Jay-Z, Fat Joe, as well as Questlove of The Roots.

Talk about a star-studded evening! This event looks like it was an absolutely amazing time. You can check out Sanchez’s photos for yourself below. And also below, you will find dates for Coheed and Cambria’s upcoming North American tour.
