Recently, Sleep Token announced an epic headlining show at London’s Wembley Arena; this arena can seat a massive amount of people, and in under 10 minutes, the band has already sold out the event.
To provide further context: the band sold out 10,000 tickets to this arena show, in under 10 minutes. Damn.
Tickets for this arena event went on sale to the public today June 2nd, and per the band’s Twitter account, “all ten thousand tickets” have been “feverishly depleted.”
Per the band’s tweet regarding this news, they shared the following:
“All ten thousand tickets for the Wembley Ritual have been swiftly and feverishly depleted, within ten minutes of general release today. Your dedication is noted, and appreciated. Come December, we shall gather. Worship.”
This is absurdly impressive. It’s surreal to see how the band has exploded in popularity, and how much their brand of pop-metal is captivating audiences around the world.
This arena show will be taking place later this year in December, but Sleep Token is also coming through North America starting in September. You can find their upcoming tour dates below.
