Per an Instagram post of his shared recently, Disturbed singer David Draiman let his fans know that he had a tumor removed from his right radius the other week. In that post, he shared a photo of his arm in a cast and wrote the following:

“Doing a bunch of press today, zoom stuff, so this is going to get out anyway. I had a tumor removed from my rt radius last week. It had been keeping me up nights. Should have biopsy results tomorrow. Thoughts, prayers, positive energy all welcome.”

Waiting on biopsy results can be a really stressful process as one sits and thinks about what their doctor may have to say; thankfully though, Draiman has received some really great news. In a follow-up post he uploaded to his social media accounts, Draiman shared with folks that the tumor he had removed is benign and that he does not have cancer.

Regarding this good news, the Disturbed frontman shared the following: “It’s BENIGN!!!! THANK GOD!!!! I may be performing with a sling for a while…but we’re coming for you Europe, USA, and the rest of the world. Time to remind everyone why we are who we are… We are… @Disturbed”

We are very glad to hear this great news and we imagine that Draiman must feel wonderfully relieved. In just a month, Disturbed will be hitting the road for an exciting new North American tour. You can find the dates and locations associated with that tour below.
