Nickelback are incredible rockers, and over the course of nearly 30 years, they’ve become one of the biggest names in modern music.

Regardless of the crap Nickelback has received from haters, they continue to focus on their craft and provide amazing shows. Among all the incredible shows they’ve performed though, there is one that has stayed with us for quite a long time.

Many moons ago, Nickelback teamed up with Jerry Cantrell onstage for a cover of Alice In Chains‘ “It Ain’t Like That,” and while Cantrell has already played the song before, Nickelback nailed the cover perfectly.

Most noticeably, Chad Kroeger‘s vocal performance brings a welcoming element of grit and intensity to the cover, which further elevates the already moving grunge song.

This performance was not only an amazing live experience, but it also represents the incredible range and skill that is Nickelback’s artistry.

Below you can check out Nickelback’s amazing cover of Alice In Chains’ “It Ain’t Like That.”
