Footage featuring the English rock band known as Royal Blood is currently circling around the internet and going viral, but not for the most positive of reasons.

As reported by Louder, the band recently took part in a music festival organized by UK radio station Radio 1. During their performance at this festival, Royal Blood was having somewhat of a rough time winning the festival crowd over.

Acknowledging the audience’s lack of interest in the band, Royal Blood singer Mike Kerr decided to get a little edgy and call the crowd out. Per the video clip of this incident that has been circulating, at one point during the band’s set, Kerr takes to the microphone and says to the audience (as transcribed by Louder):

“I guess I should introduce ourselves, as no one knows who we are. We’re called Royal Blood, and this is rock music. Who likes rock music?”

The crowd cheers, but the frontman decides to respond by saying: “Nine people. Brilliant.”

Later on in the set, Kerr takes to the microphone again and mockingly addresses the crowd, saying to them: “We’re having to clap ourselves because that was so pathetic.”

Kerr then turns his direction toward a camera person filming the band’s set, addressing them and then the crowd, saying:

“Will you clap for us? Will you clap? You’re busy. Can you clap? Yes, even he’s clapping. What does that say about you?”

As the band wraps up their set, Kerr drops his guitar and starts walking off stage – his middle fingers in the air and directed at the crowd. Apparently, it seems the audience’s supposed lackluster response to Royal Blood’s music really got to him. Below you will find the video of this incident where Kerr mocked the festival crowd.
