Last year, Ghost singer Tobias Forge (aka, Papa Emeritus IV) took to the field before a Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians game and threw out the first pitch. This moment must have meant a great deal to Forge, for over on social media, the band has announced some special new merch paying tribute to the Chicago White Sox.

Among the new pieces of merch released, there is a new Ghost shirt featuring Papa Emeritus IV wearing his White Sox jersey and holding a bat. Alongside this new shirt, you can also purchase a special Chicago White Sox Papa jersey.

On the front of said Jersey is the White Sox’s “Sox” logo, and on the back the text reads “Papa IV,” with a “4” underneath.

A video featuring this new Chicago White Sox Ghost merch has been uploaded to the band’s Instagram account, and per the caption the band provided, they share the following:

“We wish to inform you it’s time for Papa Baseball! The official White Sox Jersey and Papa Pitch Tee are now available in the webstore.”

This is certainly a unique team-up – who would have thought we would see a collaboration between Ghost and the Chicago White Sox?

If you are interested in picking up either of these awesome pieces of merch, you can do so by heading over to the Ghost webstore.

Below the promotional video for this new Chicago White Sox Ghost merch, you will find links to other Ghost-related stories, as well as some of the band’s upcoming 2023 tour dates.
