
As a means of celebrating the release of their new album 72 Seasons, Metallica is providing fans with a tool that will generate a personal Spotify playlist for them featuring metal from their “72 seasons.”
For context, the album’s title, 72 Seasons, is in reference to the number of seasons that pass in regard to a person’s first 18 years of life. By using this special tool provided by Metallica and Spotify, a personalized playlist will be created for you, featuring a variety of metal songs that were released throughout the first 18 years of your life.
Per a post from Metallica speaking about this awesome new playlist generator, the following is shared:
“Thanks to our friends at @spotify, you can relive the soundtrack of YOUR first 72 Seasons with their new playlist generator. Head to the #linkinbio to create your unique playlist featuring songs exclusive to your first #72Seasons.”
So, how do you get this personal Spotify playlist? Well first off, head over to Metallica’s Instagram page and click on the link in their bio. Once there, click on the tab that says “Spotify’s 72 Seasons Playlist Generator.”
From there, you’ll click on a “get started” tab, log in to your Spotify account, and then enter information such as your first name and Date of Birth. After that, you’ll have some terms and agreements to go through, and then your personal “72 Seasons playlist” will be created.
