Mötley Crüe has shared news that they have entered the studio with producer Bob Rock.

Band drummer Tommy Lee and guitarist John 5 have each uploaded a picture to their respective Instagram accounts related to the band entering the studio. You can find these posts below.

Not that long ago, Nikki Sixx shared that he and John 5 were working on some stuff together; well, now it seems that the band is motivated to start working on some material.

As to what the band could be doing in the studio… no exact details have been provided at this time. They could be working on a new EP, an album, or perhaps just a single song. Only time will tell of course.

However, we have to address the elephant in the room – Mick Mars is not present in the studio with the rest of Mötley Crüe. Per his lawsuit against the band, Mars clarified that he was not retiring from Mötley Crüe in general, but just from touring.

In that lawsuit, he mentions that while he doesn’t want to tour anymore, he was still down to record music with them; that said, we imagine that this lawsuit against the band complicates matters.

Per a recent interview Mars took part in, he talked about his ongoing issues with the band, speaking to how Mötley Crüe has been trying to kick him out. You can learn more details in regard to this conflict by following the links below.
