The Foo Fighters have always been an amazing and exciting band to see live; not only do they bring a wonderful energy to all their performances, but during some shows, a lucky audience member may get invited up on stage with them.

Back in 2018, a 10-year-old fan found himself taking part in such an opportunity. At a show that took place in Kansas City, Dave Grohl and the band invited a 10-year-old kid up on stage to jam out with them.

Per video footage of this moment, the kid’s name is Collier, and while on stage with the band, he was provided a guitar.

While on stage, Grohl asked Collier what songs he knows how to play, to which the little guy replied and said he knows how to play “a lot of Metallica.” Grohl then asked him to play some Metallica, and Collier went into playing one of the band’s biggest hits: “Enter Sandman.” Grohl was blown away upon hearing Collier perform the song, and the rest of the band started playing the Metallica tune alongside him.

Not only is it awesome to see Collier perform alongside the Foo Fighters, but it is also really cool to see Grohl’s reaction to the little dude’s guitar playing.

Before Collier left the stage, Grohl had one extra surprise for him – for the Foo Fighters singer offered for Collier to keep the guitar he had been playing with. What a super cool and awesome move on Grohl’s part.
