A few days after police issued a warrant for his arrest, ex-Jackass star Bam Margera has turned himself in. Earlier this week, news came out that Margera has been accused of getting into a “physical confrontation” and that a warrant had been issued for his arrest.

Per a police report obtained by TMZ, the alleged victim involved in this confrontation was Margera’s brother Jesse. Among the comments he provided to the police, Jesse shared that Bam allegedly wailed on him and hit him multiple times in the head. Jesse also shared that Bam allegedly threatened to kill everyone in the house; after Bam made this threat, Jesse says Bam left and fled into the woods behind the house.

Now, as reported by 8 WGAL, the ex-Jackass star has turned himself in to the Chester County police. Per a tweet from Trooper James Grothey (as shared by 8 WGAL):

“‘Bam’ Margera turned himself in this morning at PSP Avondale. He was fingerprinted and photographed before being arraigned at District Court 15-3-04, where his bail was set at $50,000 unsecured. The preliminary hearing is set for May 25 at the Chester County Court of Common Pleas.”

Sometime after turning himself in, Magera provided a personal update regarding this matter. Margera claims that the accusations made against him are “false” and that he will be suing his brother for “defamation.” Per a post Margera recently uploaded to his Instagram:

“I just got out of the courthouse with my lawyers. Everything went great and the false accusations of what my brother says are not true and he will be sued for defamation as well as being evicted from castle bam sooner than later. The reason this happened is because I read his phone saying he wants me back in California and he wants to find a way to 302 me. Fuck him”

For context, per the Eerie County Pennsylvania website, a “302” is a service option available to assist someone who is “experiencing a mental health crisis.” Specifically, a “302” service is described as:

“Involuntary evaluation and treatment (302) to a psychiatric unit in a community hospital.”

At this time, Margera is being charged with Simple Assault, Harassment, and Four counts of terroristic threats. We will keep you posted on this story as more developments come out.
