A band making big waves in metal right now is the mysterious Sleep Token, whose latest singles have gone super viral. The band’s brand of melodic and atmospheric metal has been catching the attention of a lot of folks, including Lorna Shore singer Will Ramos.

Recently, on his YouTube channel, Ramos decided to show off how much of a fan he is of Sleep Token by covering one of their songs. Per the description associated with his video upload, Ramos shares the following in regard to his fandom of the band and covering their song “Chokehold”:

“Sleep Token is putting out their new album on May 19th and I am absolutely loving it so far. Vessel’s voice is right in my range so I figured I’d keep dropping covers!!

“On that note, I hope you enjoy my cover of Sleep Token’s new song Chokehold! I had one of my good friends, Peter, record one of the angles so be nice!

“Some of the video got off-time while rendering but it is what it is!”

So how well does Ramos’ voice mesh with the dreamy tones of Sleep Token’s instrumentals? Actually, pretty damn well. Ramos not only shows off his wildly impressive screams in this cover, but he also includes some clean singing (which sounds really lovely).

Below you can find the video of Ramos covering Sleep Token’s “Chokehold.” Also below, you will find the dates and locations associated with Lorna Shore’s upcoming tour with Mastodon and Gojira.
