The Power Trip lineup has officially been confirmed, and while it is impressive as hell, the cost of General Admission alone is PRICEY.

Recently, Sharon Osbourne confirmed that Ozzy would be performing at the new North American heavy metal festival. Alongside Osbourne, the following other bands are confirmed to play Power Trip: Metallica, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Tool, and Guns N’ Roses.

Taking place over the course of three days – from October 6th to the 8th – the Power Trip heavy metal festival will be taking place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. The breakdown of who will be playing on what days is as follows:

Friday: Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden

Saturday: AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne

Sunday: Metallica and Tool

However, if you are interested in attending the Power Trip heavy metal festival… it is going to cost you A LOT. Because, per the folks running the festival, General Admission STARTS AT $599.

$600 is a lot of fucking money for six acts; granted, these are all amazing metal acts, but still… $600? If you don’t happen to live near where this festival is taking place, on top of that $600, you still have to consider the cost of gas, perhaps plane tickets, and if you need to stay at a hotel, that is even more money.

What do you make of the $599 price tag associated with the Power Trip festival? Do you think it makes sense given that you will get to see Metallica, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Tool, Ozzy Osbourne, and Guns N’ Roses? If you are curious to learn more details about the upcoming North American metal fest, you can do so by visiting the Power Trip website.
