Social media is buzzing right now with folks expressing various opinions when it comes to Spiritbox dropping off the upcoming Falling In Reverse tour; among the opinions shared, All That Remains singer Phil Labonte has expressed that Spiritbox dropping off the tour is “bad business.”

For those who don’t know: Spiritbox, and other bands announced to be part of the upcoming Falling In Reverse tour, have been facing fan backlash for being part of said tour; the specific issue is that fans are upset to see the bands they like supporting Ronnie Radke.

Radke has been accused of problematic behaviorhas been charged with battery for his involvement in a fight that led to a death, and some have even made claims of abuse against him. A few years ago, back in 2015, a woman came forward and claimed that he sexually assaulted her.

Last week, Spiritbox took down all posts related to the tour, and then today, they put out a statement saying they were dropping from said tour. Taking to Twitter, Labonte decided to share his two- cents regarding this news. He retweeted a report pertaining to Spiritbox’s statement and wrote the following:

“The self segregation of society continues apace”

In a separate tweet, Labonte wrote the following:

It’s really shitty business to take a tour offer, then drop off the tour over old news internet drama. None of this is new, @spiritboxband was fully aware of past @RonnieRadke drama before they accepted the offer.”

YouTuber Finn McKenty retweeted Spiritbox’s statement about dropping off the tour and asked folks what they thought of the news; Labonte replied to this tweet and expressed the following:

“The issues are nothing new so they knew about Ronnie when they took the shows. It’s bad business. If you like intrigue it could be they did it intentionally for press.”
