While Metallica is already going to be on the road this year for their own headlining tour, it also appears that they may be taking part in a new heavy metal festival alongside Iron Maiden and Ozzy Osbourne.

On social media, Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Osbourne have each posted a cryptic video teaser in regard to “PowerTrip,” which appears to be the name for a new North American heavy metal festival. The teaser shares that a big announcement will be arriving on March 30th.

There are a couple of things to process here: For starters, is Osbourne coming out of touring retirement? The heavy metal legend has shared that he wants to keep performing, that said though, his health has been a major issue preventing him from performing live.

And second, this means we could be getting a brand new metal festival here in the States. That in itself is pretty awesome.

You can check out the individual teaser trailers below, but for an official update in regard to PowerTrip, keep a look out for news to be posted this upcoming March 30th.

Would you travel to go see Metallica, Iron Maiden, and Ozzy Osbourne perform together as part of a North American metal festival? And speaking of Metallica, below you can find their upcoming tour dates.
