Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton was quite surprised recently when he saw that his band’s artwork and logo appeared on merchandise being sold by an online Christian store. Spoiler alert: Morton and the band did not give their permission for their artwork and logo to be used by the store.

Per Metal Addicts, a Christian website was selling a Lamb of God coffee mug; the mug featured artwork from the band’s 2004 studio album, Ashes of the Wake. The Christian site is called the Ciaocustom store, and they describe themselves as “a group of enthusiastic, artistic people who love using art to spread the message of God.”

Metal Addicts provided a link to check out the mug, but at the time of this writing, the link leads to an empty page; this possibly could have something to do with Morton not being happy with the store selling Lamb of God-branded merch.

Upon coming across the metal site’s post on Twitter, Morton retweeted their story and wrote the following:

“I ain’t mad at Jesus….but y’all can’t just be out here bootleggin’ my shit”

Perhaps someone from Lamb of God’s team reached out to the Ciaocustom store and expressed a complaint, and then the store took down the mug?

That said, per Metal Addicts, someone did apparently buy the mug and left the following comment:

“Great mug showing the Ashes of the Wake album cover of the secular heavy metal band, Lamb of God. Awesome! My favorite band”
