One of the most metal video games of the past year is Metal: Hellsinger.
Metal: Hellsinger is a rhythm-based shooter where, depending on how you play, the game’s music is impacted. Along with providing an atmosphere that is reminiscent of Doom, the game also features a plethora of amazing metal vocalists, such as Trivium singer Matt Heafy and Arch Enemy singer Alissa White-Gluz.
For fans of the game, you will be happy to know that new DLC is on the way, and said DLC will feature a new song with Lorna Shore singer Will Ramos. Per a post Ramos uploaded to his Instagram account, he wrote the following:
“Hey guys! I am so excited to announce that that my voice is going to be used in one of the tracks in the new Metal: Hellsinger DLC (Dream of The Beast) game!
“This game drops March 29th so make sure not to sleep on this one!
“Check out https://www.metalhellsinger.com for more information on the game!”
It will be awesome to not only hear this new song featuring Ramos but to also hear it in Metal: Hellsinger. Metal: Hellsinger is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows, and Xbox Series X & Series S (it is also available on Game Pass).
Last year, we wrote up a feature covering the “Top 10 Most Metal Games of 2022,” and of course we gave a shout-out to Metal: Hellsinger. Below is what we had to say about the game, but if you are interested to see what other video games we consider the most metal of 2022, follow the link below.
“It’s not often you see a first-person shooter merged with a rhythm game, but Metal: Hellsinger does it in stride, with one of the most kickass soundtracks backing it. Players fight swarms of hellish demons while shooting to the rhythm of each song on the game’s soundtrack, which features appearances by System of a Down’s Serj Tankian, Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe, Jinjer’s Tatiana Shmailyuk and more.”
