Over the past few days, Metallica has been teasing the release of a new track on their TikTok account, and that new song is finally out today.

“If Darkness Had a Son” is the third single off of the upcoming new Metallica album 72 Seasons.

Much like the previous two songs the band has put out, “If Darkness Had a Son” is an absolute banger.

As a wicked-sounding thrash thriller, the song is sonically gripping from start to finish.
