Recently, Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx had some harsh words to say about drumming extraordinaire Carmine Appice.

Last week, it was reported that some internal conflict had allegedly been taking place within Mötley Crüe; one of the points that were brought up was that band guitarist Mick Mars was not happy with the band’s Stadium Tour being on “tape.”

However, this matter of alleged conflict was not brought up by Mars or anyone in the band, but by Appice. In response to Appice’s comments, Sixx took to Twitter and wrote the following:

“A washed up drummer trying to speak for us? And bottom feeder media running with it to make money off of lies? Welcome to the sad new world of LOOK AT ME LOOK AT ME. Up next for us, a stadium tour in Europe, Australia , Japan etc.”

This passive-aggressive jab appears to have gotten under the drummer’s skin, for recently Appice clapped back at Sixx with his own passive-aggressive comment.

Per a post of his on Twitter, the drummer wrote the following:

“At least this washed up drummer can play his instrument well who has pioneered heavy rock drumming and can educate others around the world on his instrument !!!”

Both Sixx and Appice are firing off on full cylinders when it comes to passive-aggressive jabs.

What do you make of Appice’s initial comments in regard to Mars and Mötley Crüe’s Stadium Tour?
