The world of Elden Ring is relentless in its brutality, making it an experience that requires lots of patience and determination. One Twitch streamer, who goes by the name of MissMikkaa, has decided to take on the challenges of Elden Ring in quite a unique way.
Rather than fight her way through monsters with a typical game controller, MissMikkaa is actually using an acoustic guitar to play the game. Depending on how she plays the guitar, her avatar will go about different commands (such as attacking or dodging).
During an interview with Eurogamer, MissMikkaa spoke about the program she is using that allows her to use her acoustic guitar as a gamepad:
“I’m using a program called Abject Audio Inputs which can keybind mouse and keyboard inputs from audio frequencies. I have my guitar plugged directly into my goXLR [mixer] so that the software captures the audio from the guitar only.
“Then in the software itself I can see what frequency is being output from the guitar when I play it.”
