At this year’s Grammys event, Ozzy Osbourne received two awards. Osbourne won “Best Metal Performance” (for “Degradation Rules,” featuring Tony Iommi), as well as “Best Rock Album” (for Patient Number 9).

The heavy metal legend is incredibly thankful for both of these awards and to be recognized for his hard work.

In response to winning both “Best Metal Performance” and “Best Rock Album,” Osbourne shared the following comment (as reported by Blabbermouth):

“I’m one lucky motherfucker to have won the ‘Best Rock Album’ Grammy. I was blessed to work with some of the greatest musicians in the world and Andrew Watt as my producer on this album.

“Winning the ‘Best Metal Performance’ was equally gratifying being that the song featured my longtime friend and Black Sabbath bandmate, Tony Iommi.”

Congratulations on this awesome recognition Mr. Osbourne – you more than deserve it.
