Code Orange continues to push the envelope when it comes to creating immersive experiences for their audience (such as their “BACK INSIDE THE GLASS: A LIVESTREAM ENVIRONMENTAL EXPERIENCE” live stream event).

Besides releasing a new song a couple of months ago, it has been a few years since the band released any new projects – that is until today. Code Orange has released not one, not two, but three fascinating goodies for fans to enjoy (all of which are available today).

First up is the announcement of a brand new remix album. This album, titled What Is Really Underneath?, features remixed tracks from the band’s 2020 album Underneath.

Next up is a surreal animated short film (which goes by the same name as the remix album).

Per the description associated with that film:

“What Is Really Underneath? is a companion album to 2020’s acclaimed Underneath. Part reimagining, part soundtrack What Is Really Underneath?, contains elements of the 2020 album while digging deeper down into the Code Orange universe with original unreleased companion pieces composed entirely by the band.”

The film has a runtime of roughly 13 minutes and makes for an absolutely captivating experience. If you are interested in checking out that short film, you can do so via the video player below.

And lastly, Code Orange has also announced a new virtual reality game. This VR game is available to play for free over on the band’s website. You can play the game as of today by following this link here.

Alongside all these goodies, the band has some label-related news to share as well. Code Orange has signed to a new label called Blue Grape Music (which was started by former Roadrunner Records executives).

If you are interested in checking out the band’s new remix album, What Is Really Underneath?, you can do so via the Spotify player below. You will also find the band’s short film below. Here’s hoping we will hear news of a tour and another new album soon.
