Just recently, Ghost released another new “lore video,” with this one hinting at a collaboration with Def Leppard guitarist Joe Elliott.

Well lo and behold folks – as of today, Ghost has released a new version of their song “Spillways,” which features Elliott providing guest vocals on the track. “Spillways” is a song originally part of the band’s latest studio album, titled Impera.

One of the biggest albums of 2022 was Ghost’s Impera, which is a record that Elliott is super fond of. Speaking about his fandom of the record and working with the band on this new version of “Spillways,” Elliott shares the following:

“IMPERA was my favorite rock album of 2022… I found out along the way that Tobias is a bit of a fan of DL, so I guess it was inevitable we’d both find out about each other!

“Once we’d been introduced to the idea of working together it just snowballed organically and I’m thrilled that I got to sing on what is my favorite song from that album!”

Per a past interview with Metal Hammer, Elliott has spoken about how much he loves the new Ghost album, even comparing it to Master of Puppets.

This collaboration brings an added exciting punch to the already stellar rock banger.
