As shared by the folks over at Metal Hammer, a musician has created a piano cover of the Limp Bizkit song “Break Stuff” and band frontman Fred Durst is a fan of it!

Instagram user justjoesyracuse is a professional musician who uploads various videos of himself performing music on his piano.

Along with being really talented, Joe has covered a variety of metal songs using his piano!

He has covered the likes of Dio, Pantera, Danzig, and now Limp Bizkit!

His most recent upload involves him performing the band’s song “Break Stuff,” which is a track off of their 1999 studio album Significant Other.

In covering this nu metal banger, Joe also decides to sing the song (rather than try to mimic Durst’s vocal techniques).

The outcome… fucking jaw-dropping. Joe takes what has been known as a heavy nu metal track and turns it into a, shockingly, emotional-sounding tune.

Alongside the video of this performance, Joe provided the following caption:

“What if BREAK STUFF by @limpbizkit was done as a ballad. What do you think @freddurst ?”

Well Joe, you apparently did one hell of a job, because Fred is impressed!

In the comments associated with Joe’s video, Durst provided his approval of the tune! Specifically, Durst shared the following emojis: “🎵 🛸”

You can check out Joe’s stunning piano cover of the Limp Bizkit song “Break Stuff” below.

In other news related to the band, did you know they once covered a Tool song? Way back in the day, Limp Bizkit covered the Tool track “Opiate,” and it sure was… something. Also, did you know Fred is a big fan of Oasis and has been trying to reach out to Liam Gallagher for years? Links to both of these stories can be found below.
