As reported by Loudwire, upon learning about Damar Hamlin’s hospitalization, Chris Jericho donated $10,000 to the football star’s toy drive charity.
During a recent game involving Hamlin’s team (the Buffalo Bills), the athlete collapsed on the field after tackling another player and suffered a cardiac arrest.
Hamlin has been hospitalized and at the time of this writing, while his vitals are reported as “normal,” he remains sedated and in critical condition.
With news of Damar’s condition and hospitalization coming out, many folks have donated to a toy drive charity that the football star started in 2020. As reported by NPR, just hours after Damar suffered cardiac arrest, $4 million was donated to his toy drive charity.
Among those who donated to this drive is Fozzy frontman and AEW star Chris Jericho.
Along with his donations (Chris sent two separate donations of $5,000), he also posted the following message over on his Twitter account:
“Please pray for Damar. @BuffaloBills”
We send all our love to Damar and his family – we are thinking of you all during this difficult time <3
There is an active GoFundMe page that provides details pertaining to Damar’s toy drive. Speaking about his charity, Damar wrote the following:
“As I embark on my journey to the NFL, I will never forget where I come from and I am committed to using my platform to positively impact the community that raised me. I created The Chasing M’s Foundation as a vehicle that will allow me to deliver that impact, and the first program is the 2020 Community Toy Drive.”
Please pray for Damar. @BuffaloBills

Update on Damar:
His vitals are back to normal and they have put him to sleep to put a breathing tube down his throat. They are currently running tests.
We will provide updates as we have them.
