Today marks the 18th anniversary since the late Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell passed away. On December 8th, 2004, Dimebag was shot during a Damageplan concert.

While Dime was performing, a fan took to the stage and shot him multiple times. He was pronounced dead at the scene; he was 38 years old.

18 years later, the metal and rock communities continue to mourn the passing of Dimebag Darrell. His brother, the late Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul, would go on to live another 14 years before he would pass away; Vinnie passed away from “dilated cardiomyopathy and coronary artery disease.”

As we reflect on the passing of Dimebag Darrell today, we thought of sharing a lighthearted video featuring the brothers together. In this video, you will find Dime showing off his home and incredible guitar collection. He and his brother joke around with their guest, with Dime providing insight into his collection.

You can check out that wholesome video for yourself via the video player below. We miss both Dime and Vinnie, and hope both of them are at peace <3

We have also included some other Pantera-related stories for you to check out as well. Also, if you are interested in checking out any of the upcoming Pantera tribute shows taking place, you can find all of the band’s currently confirmed dates and locations below.
