Whether you want to call it a reunion or not, Pantera is back in a new form.

Last night, the new incarnation of the band performed their second show back, this time at Monterrey Metal Fest. Once again, the group now comprised of Phil Anselmo, Rex Brown, Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante, absolutely crushed it.

For the most part, Pantera seems to be keeping to the same setlist as their first show back. Likely due to the way the festival was set up, they played a shorter setlist than their initial reunion set, although they kept the most important moments in tact.

Again, it’s hard to get over just how good Wylde’s guitar tone sounds when they come out with“A New Level.” Beyond that, it’s a well curated setlist that plays to everyone’s strengths.

If you’re still having mixed feelings about referring to what’s happening, you’re not alone. Benante recently spoke about perception around what’s happening right now, saying:

“This was never a reunion. How can it be a reunion without Vinnie and Dime here? Sometimes people will send me something, and I see things online, and it’s so disrespectful to both Darrell and Vinnie, and it’s totally disrespectful to us too. And it’s just, like, ‘Man, if you don’t wanna come, you don’t have to come.’

Either way, we’re excited to see this group continue playing together and to hear Pantera’s classics played live for the first time in a while. Check out the band’s full setlist below, and see their performance after the jump. Head here to see where you can catch their upcoming tour dates.
