While many folks discovered the music of Metallica for the first time earlier this year thanks to Stranger Things, even more people will have a chance to be introduced to the band thanks to Fortnite. As reported by Gamespot, a Metallica-related emote has been added to the game.
Specifically, this new Metallica emote will allow you and your friends to perform the band’s wildly popular “Master of Puppets.” For $3.50 (or 500 V-Bucks), you can purchase this new emote. The first person who engages the “Master of Puppets” emote will have a guitar and microphone appear before them (giving the impression that they are rocking out like Metallica frontman James Hetfield); additional players can join in on other instruments alongside the player who initiated the “Master of Puppets” performance.
You can find a video of how this Metallica emote will appear in Fortnite below. If you play Fortnite, will you be purchasing this new emote? In other band-related news, Metallica will be heading out for an epic North American tour next year! You can find all the dates and locations associated with that tour below.
