Life can sometimes feel like an insane, totally incoherent simulation, right?
Video has recently surfaced of Casey Anthony, who was at one point the center of one of the biggest murder cases in America, dancing onstage with Steel Panther.
The video was posted by TikTok user @sarahjeaniess, and features a Steel Panther gig where a bunch of women are onstage dancing with the band. The video slowly pans to the left where it captures none other than Casey Anthony dancing with the crowd.
The caption of the video says ‘When you see Casey Anthony at a concert in Fort Lauderdale in March, then her documentary comes out in November.’
Hard to imagine Satch and the boys had any idea it was her on stage, typically at their shows they invite a ton of women to join them, so it’s hard to determine how she got up there.
It is some pretty insane timing. For a refresher, Anthony was accused of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee Anthony in 2008. Caylee wound up missing, which was first called attention to not by Casey but by her grandmother Shirley Marie Giddings.
Police investigated and soon found Caylee’s skeletal remains with a blanket inside a laundry bag in a wooded area near the family’s house.
Casey Anthony would be named a prime suspect in the crime and was involved in a highly publicized trial from May to July 2011. Ultimately, she was found not guilty, which was heavily criticized by the general public and remains a heavily contentious court decision to this day.
The TikTok user alludes to the new Peacock documentary Casey Anthony: Where The Truth Lies, a docuseries where for the first time since the trial Anthony will be addressing everything that happened.
The documentary is already getting a lot of flak for giving Anthony the platform to speak, so adding an appearance where she looks like she’s having the time of her life is certainly making people feel a certain way.
