Welcome back to The Pit’s Favorite Riffs, where we share five new killer metal songs that have recently come out and that we love! Here are the releases we covered from last week!

As always, our goal with this feature is to shine a light on more underground metal bands. This week, we are bringing you a nice variety of black metal, grindcore, and more. So without further ado, let’s jump into our top five picks for this week!

Sépulcre – “Cursed Ways Of Sheol”

Sépulcre makes good ole crushing death metal, with “Cursed Ways Of Sheol” making for a small taste of the band’s exhilarating and awesome artistry. In fact, their new release, of the same name, is an excellent death metal experience as a whole.

Blame God – “Fire Of God’s Love”

Blame God is ready to annihilate your fucking eardrums. This New York powerviolence and grindcore band do not mess around when it comes to creating compositions overwhelming with abrasive noise. This is perfect music for those looking to stir up a chaotic mosh pit.

Luna Fawn Ripley – “Coming Home (Feat. RISTRIDI)”

Luna Fawn Ripley is a unique force of gothic-progressive metal. Blending elements of melodic death metal and thrash, the band offers melancholic music that sounds thrilling as hell.

Beastial Piglord – “Sly As A Fox”

This is sludge metal that rocks hard and provides some sick grooves! If you are looking for doomy, sludgy tunes that have a punk rock edge to them, then Beastial Piglord has you covered.

Unfathomable Ruination – “The Defying Symphony of Universal Dissonance”

This new track from Unfathombal Ruination is heavy as fuck! With an absolutely killer display of crushing death metal instrumentation and an awesome vocal performance from ex-Abnormality singer Mallika Sundaramurthy, you do not want to miss out on what this band has to offer.

Of course, this is but a small taste of the many awesome metal releases that are out today. What are some new metal songs/albums that you are listening to now or plan to check out over the course of this weekend?
