On December 16, Sharon Osbourne was rushed to the hospital due to a medical emergency. According to TMZ, the health scare occurred on the set of a show Ozzy was appearing, saying,

Sources with direct knowledge tell us it all went down Friday night … Sharon fell ill on the set of the unnamed show at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, California. It was not clear if the cameras were rolling. The hotel was once featured on an episode of the Travel Channel’s “Ghost Adventurers.”

This isn’t the first time that the Osbournes’ health has been in the news lately. After recovering from neck surgery, Ozzy Osbourne mentioned how hard the recovery time had been saying

“It is so fucking tough because, I mean, I want to be out there. I want to be doing it. This fucking surgery this guy did. Fucking hell, you have no idea. My head is all right, my creativity is OK, my singing OK but I just can’t fucking walk much now..”

After what happened on set, Rolling Stone learned that whatever Sharon had undergone wasn’t life-threatening and should be able to recover.

Jack Osbourne took to Instagram to provide an update, saying,

“Ok here is what I’ll say – first things first MY MOTHER WASN’T FILMING A EPISODE OF @ghostadventures. She was filming a new episode of Night of Terror with me. Hahaha. Now that we have made that clear… She has been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. As to what happened to my mum – I’m gonna leave it to her to share about when she is ready.”

While the signs are encouraging, it’s still anyone’s guess what happened on set that caused Sharon to be rushed to the hospital.

While she’s often a controversial figure in metal, here’s hoping that Sharon has a speedy recovery and gets back on her feet again soon.
