During a recent conversation with Yahoo! News, heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne spoke to the frustrations he is struggling with when it comes to his health issues (and how said issues are impacting his ability to tour).
Osbourne has struggles with pain related to his spine and is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
Earlier this year, his wife Sharon Osbourne said that the heavy metal singer was to undergo an operation that would “determine the rest of his life.” Having gone through with that operation though (which involved his spine), Ozzy is still struggling with difficult health issues.
Speaking to Yahoo! News about his desire to be on stage and perform, but being held back by these health difficulties, Ozzy says:
“It is so f***ing tough because, I mean, I want to be out there. I want to be doing it. This f***ing surgery this guy did. F***ing hell, you have no idea.”
He goes on to add, “The thing is my head is all right, my creativity is OK, my singing OK but I just can’t f***ing walk much now.”
Ozzy also speaks to how frustrating the recovery process has been for him. “I can’t begin to tell you how f***ing frustrating life has become. It is amazing how you go along in life and one stupid thing can screw everything up for a long time. I have never been ill this long in my life.”
It is so heartbreaking to hear about all this hell that Ozzy is going through. We hope that in time you feel much better Ozzy and we are wishing you much peace <3
Several months ago, while talking about the nerve pain he deals with related to his spine, he said that the pain got so bad that he has thought to himself, “Oh God, please don’t let me wake up tomorrow morning.”
