Having just pulled off one of 2022’s most successful tours here in the US, Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard have announced that they are playing even more shows in the States come next year.
A couple of months ago, both bands announced a world tour, which will be kicking off next February and concluding in July; after that tour though, both acts will be embarking on another US tour. Accompanying them this time around for support is none other than shock-rocker Alice Cooper!
Below are all the dates and locations associated with this US tour involving Mötley Crüe, Def Leppard, and Alice Cooper:
- August 5 – Syracuse, NY – JMA Wireless Dome
August 8 – Columbus, OH – Ohio Stadium
August 11 – Fargo, ND – Fargodome
August 13 – Omaha, NE – Charles Schwab Field Omaha
August 16 – Tulsa, OK – H.A. Chapman Stadium
August 18- El Paso, TX – Sun Bowl Stadium
Tickets go on sale to the public Friday 12/16 at 10 am local time. To learn more about this event, head on over to Motley.com.
What is going to be extra interesting about these shows is that John 5 will be playing with Mötley Crüe as their new touring guitarist! Back in October, it was confirmed that John was stepping in as the band’s touring guitarist.
Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard’s The Stadium Tour was one of the most successful tours of this year; in fact, we were able to track down some data and confirm how much money was being made per show (and the amount is fucking wild).
One of the bands who took part in the US leg of The Stadium Tour is Poison, and per band drummer Rikki Rockett, he feels that The Stadium Tour has proven that “rock ‘n’ roll is not dead.”
