With it being the anniversary of Dimebag Darrell‘s passing, several musicians have taken to social media to express how much they miss the late Pantera guitarist. Among the artists who have posted tributes to Dimebag are Pantera tribute members Rex Brown and Charlie Benante.

Over on his Instagram, Pantera bassist Rex Brown provided the following caption alongside some photos of Dimebag Darrell: “It’s been 18 years since Dimebag Darrell was tragically taken. Thanks to all of you for keeping his memory alive! Make sure you do a blacktooth or 3 in his honor. RIP Jeffrey Mayhem Thompson, Nathan Bray & Erin Halk who also lost their lives trying to protect Dime.”

Over on Twitter, Charlie Benante posted a photo of him rocking out on guitar alongside Dime, and wrote the following: “Remembering @dimebagdarrell today and everyday @Pantera”

You can find both Rex’s and Charlie’s posts below. Earlier today, we shared a heartwarming story involving Machine Head frontman Robb Flynn finding a once-stolen guitar that Dimebag had gifted him. How Robb ended up coming to possess this special Dimebag guitar again is one hell of a story.
