Tommy Lee has always been looking to push the envelope since the early days of Motley Crue.
Even when all of the guys were clean and sober, Tommy was always the one guy who never really grew up, and every single thing that he’s done seems to be from the perspective of the 12-year-old energy that he still holds onto.
You thought Methods of Mayhem was raunchy, though? Wait until you get a load of this new video he has out.
For his latest single ‘Bouncy Castle’ (because f*ck subtlety), this video has some of the wildest visuals that Tommy Lee has ever been involved with, and this is the same guy who had his sex tape leaked into the world.
Across just a couple of minutes, you get Tommy playing on drums that look like breasts, having a literal trouser snake come out of his pants, and a man wearing a dildo-covered helmet. That only pales in comparison to what happens when you see Tommy in the actual video, emerging as a centaur.
This is also compounded with some of the most horrifying CGI work ever put into a music video, along with some stuff that’s probably meant to scare the sh*t out of you, like what looks like the Pennywise clown that has really let himself go in the corner being puffed up like a balloon and what looks like some random girl stomping on this overweight man in a bed as he’s throwing up and defecating.
Granted, as far as the actual song goes, it’s pretty much along the lines of what you’d expect out of Tommy’s solo outings, going down the same electronic direction with the help of smearballs to create.
Even for a guy who is still in Motley Crue, this is probably one of the single greatest video car crashes ever to be made, being too ugly to dwell on for too long but not wanting to look away for a second either.
