Have you ever loved an artist or band so much that you considered getting their logo or initials branded into your flesh?

Probably not – we think most folks would just buy a t-shirt to represent the band/artist they like. Except for one dude, who really, REALLY loves Creedence Clearwater Revival, and decided to get their initials branded into his flesh.

Over on Reddit, u/Overtestosteroned uploaded a video featuring a guy getting branded with the initials “CCR.” It goes without saying, but this video is very, very graphic. If you have watched something like Jackass (where some cast members have gotten branded in the past), then you have an idea of what to expect.

This is certainly not a video you want to play in the middle of your office space (in case your boss may see it).

Per the video footage of this branding, the guy is lying on the ground as he receives the branding. The end of the stick/poker (whatever the hell it is called), is shaped in the form of the “CCR” initials.

With the guy biting into a belt, those initials are then pressed into his chest. We absolutely cringed upon seeing this take place.

You can check out this video footage for yourself below! Could you imagine doing something this wild in an effort to pay tribute to your favorite band? What is the wildest shit you have seen someone do in order to pay tribute to a band/artist?

For those who do not know, Creedance Clearwater Revival was a rock band that was formed in 1952. They are fondly remembered to this day as one of the most popular rock acts to have ever existed. The band retired in 1972 and released seven studio albums.

Those albums are Creedence Clearwater Revival (1968), Bayou Country (1969), Green River (1969), Willy and the Poor Boys (1969), Cosmo’s Factory (1970), Pendulum (1970) and Mardi Gras (1972).
