Have you ever had the thought: “Wow, I sure would like to get tattooed by a musician I really look up to?” Maybe that sounds a tad random, but for some Avenged Sevenfold fans who attended a recent band event, they had such an opportunity (and some left with some new ink).
Avenged Sevenfold recently held a special event for their fans titled Horror Nights; among the activities a fan could partake in, one involved getting tattooed by band guitarist Synyster Gates. Over on social media, several individuals have provided photos of themselves getting inked by Gates and have included the hashtag #drunkink (implying that Gates was some level of intoxicated).
Along with Gates, band frontman M. Shadows was also tattooing fans (but we cannot confirm whether he was intoxicated or not). You can find a video of Shadows tattooing a fan below, as well as photos involving Gates tattooing folks. Had you attended this Avenged Sevenfold fan event, would you have let the band members tattoo you?
In other Avenged Sevenfold related news, Shadows recently admitted that the band may have leaned into sounding like Metallica a bit much when it comes to their 2013 album Hail To The King. Shadows has also recently defended the album, sharing over on Twitter, “Hail to the King (the song) streams more than double any other tracks we have weekly.”

When @SynysterGates tells you your first in line for #drunkInk, you go for it, but you spend the whole time hoping like hell he’s not gonna “owe you one” after he’s done. @DeathbatsClub #truth @jamie__london knows… pic.twitter.com/YTo2zgImIE
