During a recent AEW match, an opponent of wrestler Andy Williams (of ex-Every Time I Die), taunted him over the band’s breakup.
Every Time I Die broke up as of this past January; Andy himself tweet’d out a statement regarding the bands breakup. There was quite a bit of back and forth between some of the members, with Keith Buckley posting legal documents online and band bassist Steve Micciche releasing a statement regarding Buckley’s “unhinged demands and behavior.”
Buckley would eventually take part in a spoken word event where he would speak more intimately about his struggles, while also sharing his thoughts about the band. Needless to say, it has been a tumultuous time for Every Time I Die. But Andy has a wrestling career to focus on – it isn’t like the drama of ETID would ever pop up in wrestling…
During a recent AEW World Tag Team Champion match, Max Caster of “The Acclaimed” came out and threw a major diss in Andy’s face. While Caster was talking a whole bunch of shit, one of the comments he directed at Andy was, “Tonight our hands go up, ya’ll are losers, and that’s why your band broke up.”
That sure is some bullshit to throw! You can check out the footage of this incident via the video below.
In other wrestling related news, a few months ago, we interviewed Municipal Waster singer Tony Foresta about all things wrestling! He talked about growing up as a fan of the sport and mentioned some work he had done for the WWE. Follow this link here if you want to check out the full interview. Also, here’s a feature we wrote up regarding metal bands performing as part of WWE events.
