Hearing about secret private shows always catches our attention; like when a huge band puts on a show in a bar/venue for a small number of people, that shit is super cool to us. And apparently, that happens to have been the case for Kiss.
Per MichaelCavacini.com, the Detroit rockers reportedly performed an intimate and secret show for Philip Morris International on October 22nd. Michael got this information from Robert Moseley, who happened to have been in attendance. Per this reporting, there were no more than 100 people present at this Kiss performance.
Even though the band have been touring around the world as part of their Farewell Tour, they still had some time to take part in a one-off concert for some lucky folks! Below you will find two videos associated with this secret Kiss show. If given the chance, would you like to attend a secret show involving Kiss?
In other band related news, Kiss bassist Gene Simmons recently weighed in on Kanye West’s recent anti-Semitic comments (a matter that Kiss vocalist Paul Stanley has been quite vocal about already). In other Gene related news, back in September, Simmons took part in an interview where he said he does not have any friends.
Also from last month, Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine shared a story involving the Kiss bassist upsetting him (given that Gene had made a crude joke about the late Cliff Burton). Back in August, Simmons said that even when the touring band stops, “Kiss will continue in ways that even I haven’t thought of.”
Paul Stanley has spoken to why he is not working on anymore new Kiss music, sharing, “Because at this point, I came to the conclusion that it can never compete with the past. Not because it’s not as good, but it hasn’t the connection to important times in your life.”
