During a recent Nita Strauss Meet & Greet, while the guitarist was busy, some dude tried to steal a guitar pedal of hers! However, the guy was caught.
Speaking to this incident over on her Instagram, Strauss was at Big House Guitars in Atlanta and taking part in a Meet & Greet. At some point, security footage captures a guy picking up one of her guitar pedals and holding onto it as he exits the building. Here is everything Nita has to say about this matter (via that Instagram post):
“After a fun afternoon clinic at Big House Guitars in Atlanta, this mf decided to steal my GT-1000 core pedal off the stage while I was doing the meet and greet Didn’t count on the store having 30 cameras around the building I guess…
Thankfully nothing irreplaceable was taken and my Ghost, which was also on stage, is safe and sound with me. Thieves suck For the record, Big House Guitars rules!! Top notch staff there and I look forward to coming back any time you guys would like to have me”
We are glad that Nita got her pedal back! That would have sucked big time if such an important piece of equipment had been taken from her. You can actually check out the security footage of this incident for yourself below (Nita shared the footage via her Instagram).
Related to the guitarist, did you know that her and Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale once performed together as part of a WWE event? The two artists teamed up for the WWE’s first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view event: WWE Evolution 2018! While the two bad ass ladies are performing, a TV behind Hale featured some awesome matches involving the ladies of the WWE. On a separate occasion, Strauss was at WrestleMania 34, where she performed the entrance theme song for Shinsuke Nakamura.
